John Deere Moscow Office relocates to Vivaldi Plaza business complex

Investment сompany O1 Properties (“O1 Properties” or the “Company”), one of the largest owners and managers of a portfolio of high quality office properties in Moscow, today announces the signing of a long-term office rent lease agreement in the new class A business complex Vivaldi Plaza with John Deere, a world leader in the production of modern, agricultural equipment for landscaping, forestry and road building.

The John Deere Moscow office will be located on the third and fourth floors of building B, occupying 2,766 sq. m. The office relocation is scheduled for August 2012.

Located in the centre of the capital, the first class Vivaldi Plaza business complex offers its tenants premium quality infrastructure. It hosts the Torro Grill steakhouse, Café Prime Star and Coffeshop, a canteen for corporate catering, a florist, a dry–cleaners and ATM machines. In addition, the premises hold the Marriott Courtyard hotel which has conference rooms providing a full service for business meetings and events. Recreation areas as well as ground-level and underground parking are also present within the business complex.

David Larson, General Director of John Deere Russia said: “John Deere’s growth on the Russian market has led to an increase in the number of staff at the company. We are pleased that O1 Properties has been able to help with John Deere’s search for a new office by offering us space in the Vivaldi Plaza business complex, which is conveniently located in the centre of Moscow.”

Alexander Ostrovsky, O1 Properties CEO, said “At the moment John Deere’s office is located in the Class A business complex Krugozor which is also owned by O1 Properties. Being unable to offer additional space there, O1 Properties recommended moving to the Vivaldi Plaza business complex. The existing lease contract was cancelled without any penalty charges. Moving to Vivaldi Plaza demonstrates the advantage of having a large portfolio of quality buildings. We were able to fully satisfy the needs of our long term partner on mutually favourable conditions – the tenant was able to expand its office within the portfolio of the same lessor, while O1 Properties has increased the occupancy of the Vivaldi Plaza business complex, which has been a priority for the Company this year.”
